About Jessica Poon

With ADHD and two children on the spectrum (ASD and ADHD), Jessica spent years navigating the system without assistance while parenting kids with ODD and conduct disorder issues. While this is not unusual for our neurodivergent and disabilities community, she notes that it didn’t make it any easier!

Like many of her clients, she experienced how emotionally and mentally exhausting it was.

A determined survivor and thriver, Jessica has fled domestic violence, lived in public housing, and experienced financial stress.  By creating a business that serves a marginalized community, she feels honored to funnel her heart and soul into helping others navigate barriers that she had no choice but to learn on an expert level.

With an education in law and work experience in Victim Services with The RCMP, Jessica ensures that the Canadian Neurodivergent and Disabilities Hub has that extra perspective to ensure that clients receive proper care and services!

Jessica holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and is finishing her Criminology and Policing Degrees at Wilfred Laurier University. Victim Services Durham Region has trained her. Working alongside Rocky Mountain House RCMP Victim Services, she supported needy victims. A mandatory and rigorous RCMP security clearance process guarantees her the highest standards of professionalism and trustworthiness.

Jessica’s additional credentials include:

  • Dyslexia Therapist

  • Special Education
